We have “No qualms about divulging ”as complete as possible” technical information on our products where OEM supportive information is or becomes available ! We DO concede in terms of “GOOGLES” WebSite Ranking we have indirectly been sabotaged by Google and others and their arguably “stupid” algorthyms for WebSite ranking AND their inbred vagueness in how they might be interpreted behind the scenes” To date we HAVE looked at the current spate of web design concepts fostered by the ” likes of Google “ and their “Mickey Mouse” format ratability’ remobile screen size, font size, readability etc as compared to the need for information content We are at odds and prepared to sacrifice Google Ranking and our web not being “mobile” compatible as dictated to by the likes of Google . . . In fact from a technical perspective / information content . . . like it or not 1 WE prefer to stay with the concept more in tune with the “print page” concept based on an A4 page format The bulk of (at least) technical literature print brochures catalogs is still comfortable with the PDF / A4 format in the real World Huge advances in FlipPAGE format makes this long-established PDF concept Now even more presentable Our WEB Sites is NOT aimed at the “donkey mentality” twittering out there ! etc but more for providing a Technical Resource for laboratory chemists in particular The HTM is used merely as an INDEX to far more detailed PDF and Flip info Mobile Technology has advanced too !, in enabling “pinch and zoom” to access detailed info . . . overall a far better “compromise” . . . until someone comes up with a “stetchable” or flexible screen for mobiles ? Whilst the “squinty” HTM presentation we have compromised on does give some sort of “zoomable” overview the need is aimed at the PDF technology which does auto-adjust to mobile screen size anyway and DOES still require “pinch & zoom” to read overall we feel it is the best compromise for “technocrats” We will inevitably have to conform to GOOGLES expectations but still for autoscreen adjustability and subsequent inevitable loss of technical info If you are like me a printed page is still far more “readable” than any PC or mobile screen YOU just aren’t going to print out a “Mickey Mouse” version Anyway ! The Web is for all intents and purposes degenerating it seems and to be aimed at the “lowest common denominator” and is but a “fad” foisted on all for the sake of the dislexic “twitter” mentality out there ! Our current mobile Site - web page ( via www.chromtech.net.au/mobileA8.htm is designed for a 600px mobile screen and using 10point Text Font is NOT unreasonable as a compromise > but our opinion !t no way is the older 360px screen in any way useable or bearable thankfully rapidly improving in recent years with “Androids” and the resulting more competition ! it is the same “body” page as in our PC WebSite with MasterBorder) at ~1000px let’s face it! . . . even this 12PT text block does look a bit “pox” on a PC ! thats Googles’ absolute MINIMUM recommendation for a mobile design IF U R having trouble with this 10PT font (below) U can easily zoom your PC screen as well SHOPPING CARTS Our various Shop systems are “functional” but not for the “faint-hearted” and U need patience and care in using with lots of “inerpretation” needed > PRICING treat as being indicative Only until we CONFIRM if changes are deemed necessarygeneraly for factors beyond our control !
